Groove Lab offer a wide range of packages to keep the guests entertained at your event.
These examples should be taken as a starting point, as we can tailor a package to suit your needs.

Although based in Liverpool soul band Groove Lab regularly travel to perform in areas across the north west and beyond.
We work in partnership with GS Pro Audio, who provide us with professional sound reinforcement should the venue/function require more power than our standard PA system can provide. As a rule of thumb, our standard PA system works best at events with less than 100 guests, and in spaces no bigger than an average sized pub.
Groove Lab Party Band
Our most straightforward option. If you book us as a party band, we will play either 2 x 45 minute sets or 3 x 30 minute sets. In between sets, music can be provided by an iPod through our PA system, or if you've booked a DJ they can keep your guests entertained when we aren't playing.
Groove Lab Party Band and DJ
With this option, we can also provide a DJ service playing a mix of music to get the crowd moving in addition to the live music.
This is ideal in a smaller venue where there may be less space to set up the equipment necessary for seperate bands and DJs.
With our extensive collection of music, we can keep your party moving with live and recorded music.
Groove Lab Full Entertainment Solution
If you would like us to take care of the entertainment throughout your function, this is the option for you. Whether you want a solo singer to perform some acoustic tracks whilst you eat, or you would prefer some light instrumental jazz at this point, let us know what you would like, and we can accommodate your needs.
Then, when the tables are moved away, and the dance floor opens, we can get your guests up and moving to dance the night away!
Our Requirements
Groove Lab pride ourselves on being able to cope with almost any situation, but there are some things we would kindly ask for when playing a function.
Our get in and fit up time is a minimum of two hours before your event begins. This time is necessary to load and set up all of the required equipment and perform a sound check.
At a function, we would require food and refreshments for a maximum of 12 people (IE the band and stage crew). A seperate changing area and toilet facilities for male and female band members is also necessary.
Parking spaces will be required for a maximum of four vehicles, including vans, with clear access to and from the performance space.
At the end of the performance, we will need a maximum of two hours to break down and get out of the venue.
